The Experiment: Decision fatigue is real. I will remove free will. For every choice (What to eat, what to do, where to go), I will roll a 6-sided die. I must obey the die.
> DECISION 1: BREAKFAST
Options:
- Skip it
- Cereal
- Eggs
- Spicy Curry (Leftover)
- Ice Cream
- Raw Onion (Punishment)
Result: Spicy Curry at 8 AM. My stomach hated me instantly.
> DECISION 2: ACTIVITY
It's Saturday. What do I do?
- Clean House
- Go to the Gym
- Go to the Movies
- Walk North for 1 hour
- Sleep
- Call my Ex
Result: PANIC. I accepted the rule. I called.
It went to voicemail. Thank the RNG Lords.
> DECISION 3: LUNCH LOCATION
I walked into a food court.
Roll: 1 (McDonalds).
I ate a Happy Meal alone. I felt 5 years old.
> DECISION 4: SOCIAL INTERACTION
A friend invited me out.
Evens = Yes. Odds = No.
I texted "No." They asked why. I rolled again.
1-3 = Tell truth. 4-6 = Lie.
Roll: 2 (Truth). "The dice told me not to come." They think I am having a mental breakdown.
> THE CHAOS FACTOR
Living by chance releases you from responsibility. "It wasn't me, it was the die."
But it also destroys continuity. You cannot plan. You are a leaf in the wind.
> CONCLUSION
The dice made me eat Curry for breakfast and call my ex. The dice is an agent of chaos.
However, it was the most exciting Saturday I've had in months because I genuinely didn't know what would happen next.
Final Roll (Should I do this again?):
NO.
